Great for winter Can of Vitality, Napa cabbage, Baby bok choy, Carrots, Lotus root, Shiitake mushrooms, Enoki mushrooms, Tofu, Tomatoes, Kabocha squash, Vermicelli noodles, Sliced meat (Beef, Pork or Lamb) or Seafood (Shellfish, Fish, etc) INSTRUCTIONS Chop up vegetables to desired size Pour 1 part Vitaliy to 5 parts water into large hot pot Once boiling, place in desired vegetables When the soup begins boiling again, place in desired protein Cook protein until well done Finally, place your favorite type of noodles into the soup and cook until done Enjoy with rice! |
SLOW-COOKER POSOLE
Great for family gatherings 1 tablespoon canola oil 2 lbs boneless pork loin roast cut into 1-inch cubes 29 oz of enchilada sauce 31 oz of white hominy 1 sliced onion 1/2 cup diced green chilies 4 minced cloves garlic 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper 2 teaspoon dried oregano 1/4 cup chopped cilantro 1/2 teaspoon salt Vitality INSTRUCTIONS Heat the canola oil in a skillet over high heat. Add the pork; cook and stir just until meat is browned on all sides, about 5 minutes. Place the meat in a 4 quart slow cooker. Pour the enchilada sauce over the meat. Top with the hominy, onion, chilies, garlic, cayenne pepper, and oregano. Pour in 1/2 Vitality and 1/2 water to fill the slow cooker. Cover, and cook on High for 6 to 7 hours. Stir in the cilantro and salt. Cook on Low for 30 minutes more. |
